Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. Growing up she was influenced by Boleros, classical music and the traditional romantic, ranchero, and romance ballads. Ana loves tangos as well drama and opera. Her mother teaches her how to sing. However, she started intensive vocal training by Flavio Belcerra, who was 16 at the time when he was a renowned Mexican opera singer and tenor. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. When she was a student, and a young professional, she performed with many chamber groups and opera choirs in Guadalajara and Mexico City. Following her move in California in United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present place in the southern part of California. She's a regular solo performer for private events and parties, performing the traditional Latin American Music. as a music teacher and musician Ana is a dedicated participant in numerous community projects because of her passion and love for music. Ana is a previous part of the Community Chorus of Redlands (as well being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is hoping that, through her sharing of Latin American traditional songs, that she will instill a passion, particularly among the younger generation to keep this tradition alive.
